Herb grew up in the Central Florida area and currently resides in Daytona Beach with his wife, Shannon. Herb has been active in business brokerage since 2005 and currently serves as the President of FBX. He uses his own personal experience as the owner of a commercial electrical contracting business to relate to business owners and the unique struggles they face, both during their daily operations and when it comes time to exit.

Herb’s experience has allowed him to successfully bring together hundreds of buyers and sellers in transactions of all shapes and sizes earning him the distinction of being one of the top 50 business brokers in Florida and a multi year recipient of the Million Dollar Plus award.

As the President and Broker of Florida Business Exchange, Inc. Mr. Risdon has developed a team of hugely successful and experienced associates, with proven track records in sale, acquisition and valuation of businesses. The company has become a major force in the marketing and sale of businesses throughout Florida.

Mr. Risdon has been in the industry since 1966 and has acted as an Intermediary in several hundred transactions and performed many valuations for both the courts and divestitures over the years. Originally from Michigan and in Florida market since 1990. He has been active as an officer and director in various professional organizations and is a founding member of the Business Brokers of Florida.
