Bob McGinty has extensive business ownership that spans more than forty years and includes being founder of accredited vocational medical and computer schools (3 campuses), medical rehabilitation and employment companies, temporary employment agency, key man office, business transfer company and small construction company. This business ownership and membership in professional associations provides an ideal background for business including machinery/equipment appraisals, business appraisals, as well as merger & acquisition transactions. McGinty is the Regional Director for Business Evaluation Systems.
McGinty has extensive experience, training and certifications as a Certified Business Counselor (CBC), Certified Machinery & Equipment Appraiser (CMEA), Professional Enhancement Consultant (PEC), Certified Senior Business Analyst (CSBA) and Professional Business Consultant (PBC), and he is licensed as a Florida Real Estate Broker.
Some of the business and machinery/equipment appraisal and brokerage assignments completed by McGinty include paper manufacturing plant, extensive screen printing business, multi-state bank assignment appraisal for the FDIC, medical equipment (scanners, MRI’s), international refurbished broiler company, charitable donation equipment, professional practices including medical, dental, attorney, and CPAs. McGinty’s brokerage assignments (over two decades) range from a $14 million company to global buyers to the local ice cream shop and most every industry.

Jon Hunt has more than 30 years of business management experience. He is the former publisher of The St. Augustine Record and The Lubbock (Texas) Avalanche Journal as well as new business development director for The Florida Times-Union.
In addition to business management and operations experience, he has a strong financial background, having successfully completed all courses required to be a Certified Financial Planner. Jon also holds Series 6 and 65 investment licenses. He retired from the U.S. Army Guard with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
That background serves well not only his business brokerage clients, but also the clients of SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives), where he volunteers to counsel small business owners and those who want to start businesses.
Jon is a graduate of Young Harris College, The University of Georgia and the Army’s Command and General Staff College.
Jon is married to a “semi-retired” newspaper and magazine editor, has a sone who works for the Department of Defense in Denver and a daughter who is – much to his chagrin – about to graduate from UF.

Terri Sherman, a native of Jacksonville, Florida, has a B.A. in English with a minor in Mass Communications from the University of North Florida. Her background is in the music/entertainment industry, where she has spent several years working alongside many notable organizations and individuals providing her services and expertise. She is a member of The National Association of Professional Women.

Stephen R. Schuller has been working with investors and business owners for over 25 years. Shortly after graduating from the University of New Orleans, he opened and managed a small insurance agency for several years. In order to provide a broader array of products and services to his clientele, Stephen followed in his father’s footsteps and has enjoyed a successful career in the securities industry.
During this time, he has received national recognition as an equity analyst by serving as a reference source for a number of books on investing in smaller publicly traded companies. It was that background in business valuation and his desire to work with “Main Street” businesses that led Stephen to FBX. When Stephen is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, and staying active in his church.
